There are a large number of music associations and organizations out there and getting in touch with the right one is usually the best way to find a music professional in your home town. If you've been looking around for professional help but haven't had much success as of yet, why not try contacting one through the appropriate music association?
For example, if you're looking a Record Dealer, why not contact the Association of Record Dealers and ask them to help you contact the nearest dealer to you? Associations and Organizations also protect musicians and artists as being a member of a particular organization means that the person whom you are dealing with needs to run his business according to certain standards. This means they are less likely to try and cheat you out of your money as you can report unethical behavior to the head of the organization. Why not look into the various music Associations and Organizations in your country. It's a great place to get started.
